Content Policies (CMAP, CAP and CRP)

This page contains three policies that govern the content of the iLearn portal: the Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval Policy (CMAP), the Content Archival Policy (CAP) and the Content Review Policy (CRP).

1. Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval Policy (CMAP)

1.2 Workflow

  1. The contributor sends the content, with its source and date, to the moderator.
  2. The moderator checks it against the content standards below and returns it for correction if needed.
  3. The approving authority approves it, and the approval is recorded.
  4. The publisher places it on the portal and checks that it displays correctly.
  5. Urgent notices (for example a change in a deadline) follow the same steps but may be approved by telephone or e-mail and recorded afterwards.

1.3 Content standards

2. Content Archival Policy (CAP)

2.1 What is archived or removed

2.2 How it is done

  1. Every notice shows a title, a date and a validity period when it is published.
  2. At the end of its validity, the notice is taken off the active pages by the publisher.
  3. Replaced guidelines and manuals are kept, with the version and date, for as long as the Ministry requires, and are not shown as current.
  4. Content with no continuing value is deleted after approval, and the removal is recorded.
  5. Archived material is not changed, and a request to see it can be sent to support@ilearn.gov.in.
